Beth Rivera, MHS, LCADC, LPC, CCS
Beth began her career in 2006 at a bi-lingual treatment center for complex addiction and co-occurring disorders. She quickly obtained her state certification (CADC) and worked diligently to develop an understanding of organizational culture and enhance her clinical skills. Beth currently holds an MHS in Human Services, is licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC), and is also certified to provide Clinical Supervision by the Professional Certification Board in NJ (APCBNJ). Beth has held leadership positions with CURA, Inc., St. Clare’s Social Services, and most recently Executive Director at Endeavor House North. Beth uses her knowledge and expertise to provide technical assistance, clinical supervision, and training on Motivational Interviewing, integrated treatment, and co-occurring disorders with a culturally sensitive approach. Professionally, Beth appreciates the opportunity to build teams, implement best practices, and develop strategic planning. Personally, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Kimberly Ortega, MACP
Kimberly received her Master’s in Counseling Psychology degree from Felician University and is also a Certified School Counselor. Working most recently at Endeavor House North, Ms. Ortega was responsible for staff recruitment, employee compliance, conflict resolution, and coordinating and oversight of special projects. Kimberly has previously been employed at Felician University and Maria Varisco Charter School in Newark, NJ. Her student assistance and counseling responsibilities included providing outreach counseling to students, crisis intervention, referrals to other agencies, implementation of peer leadership programs, and coordination of prevention and intervention services. Kimberly is skilled at implementing process improvement programs as well as developing materials for training and education. Ms. Ortega brings with her a style that embodies a client-centered approach and a goal to help agencies to create a vision of excellence.
Suzanne Conte, LCADC, CCS
Suzanne has extensive experience in the Behavioral Healthcare field holding numerous corporate positions directly responsible for strategic planning, implementing integrated treatment, improving financial performances, and developing operational policies and procedures. Ms. Conte is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and a Board approved Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). Ms. Conte began her career in private practice in 1992 before joining Hoboken University Medical Center in 1997 as Clinical Director. In that role, Suzanne was responsible for providing direct clinical supervision as well as coordinating the Employee Assistance Program for all Jersey City Municipal employees. Diversifying her skills and talents, Ms. Conte was hired as the New Jersey Regional Clinical Director for Habit-Opco, a Massachusetts-based agency. Her new responsibilities included overseeing clinical care for one of the largest medication-assisted treatment, providers in New Jersey. In 2010 Suzanne joined High Focus Treatment Centers and assisted in enhancing their outpatient services, implementing new clinical and performance improvement activities. Subsequently, she connected with Endeavor House, helping to grow their Detox and Residential programs. Utilizing her wide-ranging clinical and administrative experience, Suzanne went on to expand the continuum of care at Serenity at Summit and Enlightened Solutions and was instrumental in the implementation of state-of-the-art Sub-Acute Detox Programs. As the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Sprout Health Group, Suzanne spearheaded the expansion of their existing network and was directly involved in the acquisition of new centers in New Jersey and California. Suzanne was responsible for securing and sustaining Joint Commission and CARF accreditations and all licenses (CA-DHCS, NJ- DMHAS, DEA, CDS, SAMHSA, etc.) for their Detox,
Residential, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient Addiction and Mental Health levels of care.
Recognized as an expert in the field by the Addictions Professional Certification Board (APCBNJ), Suzanne provides substance abuse certification and recertification training for agencies throughout New Jersey including the New Jersey Prevention Network, New Jersey City University, and the National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence. Suzanne has also participated in educational media programs and has been selected as an expert guest speaker for various radio and television broadcasts. Suzanne has been viewed as a problem solver and motivator during her twenty-five-plus years’ experience, Suzanne states “I am honored to have opportunities to share my vast experience to enhance the quality of services already being delivered and help promote a vision of excellence."
